STEVEN L. SUGARMAN, founding principal of the Berwyn law firm, Steven L. Sugarman & Associates, was a featured speaker at the Pennsylvania Bar Institute’s 25th Annual Real Estate Institute held virtually on December 1, 2022, where he co- presented on recent updates on judicial and statutory laws impacting condominiums and homeowners associations throughout the Commonwealth. Previously, on October 18, 2022, Mr. Sugarman served as the course planner and a featured speaker for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute’s program entitled, “Collapse of the Condo: Understanding the Rights, Responsibilities and Remedies of the Condominium and Homeowners Association.” His presentation focused on “Remedies for Defective Conditions” within community associations. A frequent lecturer at the national and regional levels on community association law and member of the prestigious College of Community Association Lawyers, Mr. Sugarman also serves as an adjunct professor at Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law where he developed and teaches the course, “Condominium and Homeowner Association Law.” He is a graduate of Cornell University and the Temple University School of Law.
